I usually don’t have trouble thinking of things to blog about, mostly because I’ve set the bar quite low. Remember all those thermos posts?
Yeah, I could probably get away with writing several paragraphs about my broken stapler that I won’t throw away, and my loyalest of readers (Ben and Anna Leisa) would be satiated.
Stapler aside, I just can’t think of anything trivial to blog about today.
Among relevant things that I’ve been ruminating on:
– waking up in the mornings
– not letting Guitar Hero (or anything else) ruin your life
– running: good for the appetite and the soul
– counting it joy to serve God and others
– finding purpose exactly as you are
– choosing to make things better rather than complain about how they are now
– England should have listened to Churchill about Adolf Hitler.
Unfortunately, none of that is going to be blogged about today – too much work. Blogging about not knowing what to blog about is probably a new low.
Hmm…maybe I just should’ve blogged about how I didn’t know what a pliers looked like this weekend.
Can’t turn back time. Have a great Tuesday, internet.
This post saved my life. Seriously. One of the worst days ever here. Thanks for blogging today, Christine.
I’ve been practicing my Guitar Hero skillz for a rematch with you.
And I want to hear what you have to say sometime about finding perpose exactly as you are – something I’ve wrestled with a lot lately. Cheers!
i’m a new reader and i’m satisfied by your blogging! i also enjoy your use of pictures throughout the blog, it’s a nice touch.
ps. we should make a date to see each other soon!
Angie!! Welcome to the blog, I’m honored that you stumbled over!! Comment often, please. When are we going to start our stitchwork club?
Jon Dordal, I wish I’d seen this comment earlier. I would’ve definitely stopped you at the meeting to talk about it – I can’t STOP talking about it. Let’s make it happen.
Ben, did we both have intense days?? I just saw this and also just had an intense day.
Chrissy, I will forever be loyal to you(r blog).
Despite the pliers incident, you were a huge help at the Rock TV shoot!
Your brilliant line readings made Peter O’Toole sound like an ape.
I don’t think blogs need to have a bar. I think I’ve set a bar for mine and it just makes me want to jump higher…when really people probably just want something to fill their gaps of time. And that is why I am super-excited that you blogged today. No bar necessary. Excellent post as always.
Thanks Peter! It was really fun! And if I’m able to make esteemed actors look like apes, I guess I’ve done my job, huh?
A little late CG, but I’m an old reader and I’m satisfied by your blogging. AND, I’d kick your butt in a Guitar Hero rematch. I just know it.
