Add Breakdown to your queue. Seriously, intense little thriller with a great little cast. Kurt Russell, the late J.T. Walsh, M.C. Gainey and Kathleen Quinlin. I consider it one of the stronger films of that year.

Unspy: It got worse, but then it got a little better. We like the story, but not the acting, blah blah blah.

Quallsy: Can we convince everyone else that that counts as a Halloween movie? Because it's got my vote!

I love John Adams! I tried to get everyone to watch it with me when it was on but I was the only one watching it at the end. He looks at the painting and reflects on his life, and his wife dies, and it's sad! I cried a little, too.

Also guess what we taped on TV? GHOST DAD!! Let's watch it on Friday!

Well, Broken Arrow was in that...middle when Travolta made it big with Pulp Fiction and hit the height of his popularity with Face/Off. I watched F/O the other night out of curiosity, since I had not seen it for about six years, and I bought the Blu-Ray on a whim when Best Buy had it super cheap.

Still holds up. Thank God the studio did not let John Woo have the ending he wanted. Although, to this day I kind of wonder...who doesn't go pick up their spouse when he is let out of the hospital-and is surprised when said spouse comes home? "Oh, Honey, they let you out today? Sorry, I was surfing the net and forgot. Glad you are back home, though."

If you saw the first the Fast and the Furious, you have seen Point Break. They are pretty much the exact same plot with guys who drive really fast instead of skydive.

I am pretty sure Peter has a pitch for the Adventures of Jesus and Abraham Lincoln to replace the current format of Rock TV ready to go. Have fun with that one at the next writers meeting.

I guess I wasn't watching movies in 1995! The only one I've seen is Die Hard With a Vengeance, but I barely remember DHWV, so I totally fail to provide anything to this conversation!

Maybe I've seen The Net? I have really vague memories of it, but that just might be from previews?

So basically, I won't be voting for this one. :)
